About this japanese pouch :

The fabric used for this pouch is that of a silk kimono that we transformed. A kimono is a traditional Japanese garment whose each piece is unique because it is hand made. A new kimono costs several thousand euros. Nowadays, wearing a kimono is unfortunately getting lost, due to, among other things, the difficulty to dress oneself and the lack of opportunity to wear it. Nowadays, one can wear a kimono for a wedding, for an official ceremony or to attend cultural and artistic performances (theater, floral arrangement, tea ceremony…).

With Monoya Tokyo, we wanted to give a second life to these kimono and more broadly to these traditional fabrics, which are a little neglected by the Japanese but whose refinement and quality of fabric are incredible.

Cautionary notes :

We use high quality fabrics to make our creations and we take care to use only textiles whose general condition is very good; however it may happen that marks of time are present on these fabrics which are several decades old, witnesses of their past histories. Please keep this in mind before ordering.

Depending on the cut of the kimono, it is possible that the selected part may not be exactly identical to the photo of the product. If there is a big difference, we will contact you by e-mail showing you a photo of the product and you will be able to validate or not the order.

Washing is not recommended.

Delivery :

From December 1, 2020, orders will be shipped from France.

The products will be delivered to the delivery address indicated during the ordering process or to the nearest relay point to your home.

For metropolitan France, we offer two possibilities: home delivery via Colissimo or pick-up at a relay point with Mondial Relay. The price applied corresponds to the weight of the parcel and you can find the price lists on the sites of the carriers.

For the DOM-TOM, we propose a sending by Colissimo Overseas.

For Belgium, there are also two possibilities: a home delivery via the Post Office and their service dedicated to companies, Delivengo Easy, or a collection at a relay point with Mondial Relay.

For zone 1 of Europe (Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom and Sweden), we use La Poste with their dedicated service for companies, Delivengo Easy, for a home delivery with tracking.

For zone 2 of Europe and other countries in the world (Canada, United States, Japan, Norway and Switzerland), we also use the Post Office with the Delivengo Easy service for home delivery with tracking.

As indicated in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the prices of our articles are indicated in euros, excluding taxes and shipping costs. As micro-entrepreneurs, we are not subject to VAT, according to Article 293B of the CGI, we do not charge it to our customers.

In case of an order to a country outside the European Union, you are the importer of the product(s) concerned. Customs duties, import duties or other local taxes may be required of you. These duties and amounts vary from country to country and are not the responsibility of Monoya Tokyo. They will be at your expense and are your sole responsibility. We advise you to check with your local authorities before placing an order.
