About this Japanese clutch:

The fabric used for this clutch is that of a silk kimono that we have transformed. A kimono is a traditional Japanese garment and each piece is unique because it is handmade. When purchased new, a kimono costs several thousand euros. Nowadays, the kimono is unfortunately being lost, due to the difficulty to dress oneself and the lack of opportunity to wear it. Nowadays, one can wear a kimono for a wedding, for an official ceremony or to attend cultural and artistic performances (theater, flower arrangement, tea ceremony…).

With Monoya Tokyo, we wanted to give a second life to these kimonos and more widely to these traditional fabrics, which are a bit neglected by the Japanese but whose refinement and quality of fabric are incredible.
Caveats:

We use quality fabrics to make our creations and we take care to use only textiles whose general condition is very good; however it may happen that marks of time are present on these fabrics which are several decades old, witnesses of their past history. Please keep this in mind before ordering.

Depending on the cut of the kimono, the selected part may not be exactly the same as the product picture. If there is a big difference, we will contact you by e-mail with a picture of the product and you can validate or not the order.
Washing is not recommended.
Delivery:

From December 1, 2020, orders will be shipped from France.

The products are delivered to the delivery address indicated during the ordering process or to the nearest relay point of your home.

For metropolitan France, we offer two possibilities: a home shipment via Colissimo or a pick-up in a relay point with Mondial Relay. The rate applied corresponds to the weight of the parcel and you can find the rate grids on the sites of the carriers.
For the French overseas departments and territories, we propose a shipment by Colissimo Outre-Mer.
For Belgium, there are also two possibilities: a home delivery via the Post Office and their service dedicated to companies, Delivengo Easy, or a collection in a relay point with Mondial Relay.
For the European zone 1 (Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom and Sweden), we use the Post Office with their dedicated service for companies, Delivengo Easy, for a home delivery with tracking.
For the zone 2 of Europe and the other countries of the World (Canada, United States, Japan, Norway and Switzerland), we also use the Post Office with the service dedicated to the companies Delivengo Easy for a delivery at home with follow-up.

As indicated in our General Sales Conditions, the prices of our articles are indicated in euros, excluding taxes and shipping costs. As micro-entrepreneurs, we are not subject to VAT, according to article 293B of the CGI, we do not charge it to our customers.

In case of an order to a country outside the European Union, you are the importer of the product(s) concerned. Customs duties, import duties or other local taxes may be required of you. These duties and taxes vary from country to country and are not the responsibility of Monoya Tokyo. They are your responsibility. We advise you to check with your local authorities before placing an order.
